Nicole Dinihanian

Independant Stylist

Industry Experience

At That Hair Though, I am proud to bring over 20 years of professional experience to every client.

I completed my training at Paul Mitchell the School, where upon graduation, I was invited to stay on as a learning leader. In this role, I received advance training that has followed me to this day. After deciding to focus my career solely behind the chair, I dedicated myself to expanding my skills through extensive training in the salon and traveled to Las Vegas, California and New York where I became a certified colorist.

Today, I proudly offer bridal hair and makeup, Keratin and Smoothing treatments, haircuts for men, women, and children. I specialize in all aspects of color, ensuring each client not only leaves feeling confident but enjoys their experience with me. Im also very proud to share in June of 2025 I was recognized and awarded one of the top five salons in the New Haven County.

I proudly use Goldwell Color & Paul Mitchell The Color in my work.

Who's behind the chair?

Hi, I'm Nicole Dinihanian the face behind the chair of That Hair Though! Born and raised here in North Haven, I feel incredibly lucky to not only raise my own family here, but to be able to share my passion of hair in a town that means so much to me. At the salon you'll often find me with either an iced coffee or a crispy McDonalds Diet Coke and my signature red hair, reflecting my passion for bold, vibrant styles.

I am married to my husband Mathew, and we are proud parents to our three wonderful children. While hair holds a huge place in my heart when Im not at the salon I love teaching hip hop dance and serving as Vice President of my kids school PTA.

I truly love what I do and live for the relationships I make behind the chair. Back in school, I was taught hairdressers don't just do hair-we are "Day-Makers". All these years later that belief still holds true.

I look forward to welcoming you to my chair and making your day!
